A little story for the night.
So, I’m currently sharing my room with my Lola Lily during her stay here in Manila. She was feeling a bit restless, and can you guess what she did to help her sleep?
She took out her phone, and started playing the best oldies songs ever! The kind of songs that are vaguely familiar but you can’t seem to come up with the title, because honestly, your 4-year-old mind simply cannot be bothered with remembering things like that.
Anyway, how adorable is she, right? But I was preoccupied with something on the laptop, so I focused on that for a bit. I was about to ask her if she wanted me to plug it in the speakers, only to find her fast asleep. I’m not turning off the music though — its comforting to hear. It kept me smiling for the past 10 minutes or so.
As simple as it is, I see this as one of the fondest memories I have with
my Lola.
